Everybody was going on about karma ... but it occurred to me that karma is instant, as well as it influences your past life or your future life. There really is a reaction to what you do now ...
So, the idea of instant karma was like the idea of instant coffee: presenting something in a new form.みんな業(カルマ)について話したがるけど……僕が思い浮かべていたのは、業は即座にできあがる(インスタント)ってことだ。君の過去や未来の生活に、業が影響するようにね。君が今していることへの報いって本当に起こるんだよ……。つまりインスタント・カルマのアイディアは、インスタントコーヒーのアイディアみたいなものなんだ。新しい形で表現したんだよ。
